Two years ago, theHotel de la Mer<\/a><\/strong> was turning an important page in its history with the complete renovation of its spaces. The project was carefully managed, with respect for the site, its environment and the soul of the hotel. Since the renovation, the H\u00f4tel de la Mer has continued to write its history, to the rhythm of the seasons, the teams and the shared projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Renovation in keeping with the spirit of the place<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The renovation of theHotel de la Mer<\/a><\/strong> s ambition was never to radically transform the house, but rather to accompany its natural evolution. The challenge was clear: to reveal the identity of the site, strengthen its link with the coast and offer an atmosphere that is contemporary, soothing and true to the spirit of the Breton coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed with the firm Wunder Architects<\/a><\/strong>The project has given rise to spaces where the sea is omnipresent without ever imposing itself. A palette of soft colours, inspired by the moor, the waves and the changing light of the sea, has been used to create a space where the sea is omnipresent without ever imposing itself. The rooms<\/a><\/strong> The renovated rooms now offer a veritable cocoon, where comfort and sobriety meet. Light plays a central role, filtered through large windows that naturally extend the view outwards. Some rooms open directly onto the ocean, offering a soothing face-to-face view of the coastline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The communal areas have also been redesigned to encourage sharing and conviviality. Here, people take the time to sit back, contemplate and share. The renovation has created warm living spaces, ideal for both socialising and more intimate moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The renovation also marked the birth of the Spa by Omnisens<\/a><\/strong>designed as a natural extension of the H\u00f4tel de la Mer experience. A space dedicated to well-being, relaxation and letting go, in perfect harmony with the marine environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the renovation, the H\u00f4tel de la Mer has continued to move forward, driven by a collective dynamic and concrete commitments. A year ago, the hotel was awarded its fourth star, in recognition of the work carried out by all the teams and the attention paid to every detail. More recently, the Green Key<\/a><\/strong> has confirmed a sustainable approach that is an integral part of the hotel's day-to-day operations, paying close attention to resources, responsible practices and local roots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This accolade recognises sincere, seasonal cuisine, as well as local produce and expertise. This recognition is in keeping with the philosophy of the house: to offer a generous table that is deeply connected to its region, where each plate tells a simple and fair story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
