29 November 2025, Hotel de la Mer will open its doors for a unique evening: the first edition of Belles Marées, a gastronomic event conceived as an ode to the sea and the Brittany. In the hushed and refined setting of the Bistrot GourmandIn the restaurant, facing the ocean, guests will be invited to enjoy an exceptional culinary experience based around scallops, enhanced by wines from passionate artisans and orchestrated by the talented Chef Sébastien Duhamel. The evening promises to be much more than just a dinner: it will be a celebration of taste, sharing and the Breton art of living.
A celebration of Breton flavours and produce
Conceived as a vibrant tribute to the treasures of Brittany's coasts, the Belles Marées evening will feature the Saint-Jacquesa jewel of the sea and an emblem of local gastronomy. Under the expert hand of Chef Sébastien Duhamel, each product will be prepared with respect, creativity and precision.
The Chef will be offering a five-course menu, imagined as a meeting between land and sea, between tradition and modernity. The dishes will combine the delicate iodine of shellfish with the subtle flavours of seasonal vegetables and the woody notes of Brittany. Each dish will tell its own story: the story of a living land, of committed suppliers and of culinary know-how geared towards emotion. As guest of honour, Fabien Grolleau, a committed and passionate winemaker, will be sharing his world and his philosophy of wine: vintages that are alive and sincere, just like the landscapes that gave birth to them. Together, they will guide guests through subtle food and wine pairings, conceived as genuine dialogues between fruit, sea and earth. The Belles Marées evening will take place on Saturday 29 November 2025. The wine and food pairing dinner is priced at €110 per person. The complete package, including the evening, overnight stay and breakfasts for two people, is available at €350 for a double room with a view over the moors, or €390 for a double room with a sea view.
